IS THERE A FEE FOR USING THE PUBLIC LAW CENTER OR FAMILY LAW FACILITATOR'S OFFICE?
NO. The Public Law Center and the Family Law Facilitator's Office do not charge a fee for use of its facility or any assistance provided; however, forms must be purchased

A copy machine and printer are available for public use for a fee of 10 per page.

HOW DO I USE THE PUBLIC LAW CENTER OR FAMILY LAW FACILITATOR'S OFFICE?
The Public Law Center and the Family Law Facilitator's Office provide a number of options for people to use to help themselves through the legal process. Forms packets are available with instructions for completion. Videos are available on a number of subjects to view at the Public Law Center and the Family Law Facilitator's Office. People are also encouraged to tour the courthouse and observe the courtroom in which they are to appear before their scheduled appearance date so they can watch what happens and be better prepared for their own court appearance.

DOES THE PUBLIC LAW CENTER OR FAMILY LAW FACILITATOR'S OFFICE TAKE THE PLACE OF A PRIVATE ATTORNEY?
NO. The Public Law Center and the Family Law Facilitator's Office can assist "pro per" litigants (people who are not represented by an attorney) to help them help themselves by better understanding the legal process. The attorneys at the Public Law Center and the Family Law Facilitator's Office cannot represent any individual in a court matter.
